I love this coffee machine! It does it all!! Easy to operate and clean. The milk foamer works really well. It is a bit pricey, but I think worth it especially if it lasts for years. We will see.
I'm very happy with this machine and its ability to make different types of coffee. I don't intend to use it for drip at all, but I've been using it for espresso-type drinks with excellent results. The fact that it makes brewing easy, while still keeping you mostly in control, mostly means you're learning about WHY something is working or isn't working. This machine helps you tweak temperature, strength, and extraction separately. You get guidance, but it's up to you if you listen to it based on what you're trying to extract. Is it perfect? No. It's not meant to be, though. It's meant to be convenient for a beginner. That said, it's expensive, but you do get good functionality for that price.I wanted something that wouldn't take away my ability to tweak, in case I got more into espresso, but if I decided not to I could still get good coffee. This delivers.
We LOVE our ninja. But in full transparency the first one we received was awful, defective, and made straight booty water espresso. Ninja was great about sending us a new one with no fuss. And the second one works like a GOD! But it does suck that we had to go through the sucky one to get to all that goodness lol. Just be warned!
I loveeeee Ninja so much, it’s no surprise I had my eyes on the Lux Cafe Pro! This machine is a powerhouse and has everything you need to brew the perfect cup.One minor complaint but it was absolutely my fault: a piece of the plastic from the water reservoir cracked as I attempted to insert the porta filter into the brewer head (it’s a tight fit to ensure the seal stays put and normal). I do have my Lux Cafe Pro on a silicone pad, which makes the unit very slippery and my grip was on a horrible angle. Nonetheless, it didn't interfere with the operation of the machine and I’d recommend avoiding a silicone mat lol.The machine can get a bit noisy but it’s expected I suppose and doesn’t bother me. The best beans to use are locally roasted beans with a “roasted on” date. Taste is great, I have no regrets and love my new machine!
